I have been a painter for over 10 years and hold a degree in Fine Art Painting.
About a year ago I stumbled upon polymer clay DOLLS.
I was absolutely intrigued. Finally there were dolls that looked like they had real skin! They were so lifelike. And they weren't limited to what a mold produced for you as they were entirely sculpted from scratch. I loved the idea. I could finally create anything I could come up with- although it was going to take a lot of practice as I soon realized. I completed my first doll and completely caught the sculpting bug.
My dolls are one-of-a-kind creations which are sculpted from Polymer-clay over a wire and cloth armature or with use of ball joints. Using my experience and skills garnered from years of painting, I hand paint and dress the dolls in highly detailed, hand sewn costumes. My goal is to give each a unique expressive quality which transcends mere decoration. Each doll has a unique story to tell. Once completed, each piece is titled, signed and dated, ready to welcome into your home

All my dolls have limited edition, no more than 2-3 pieces. The doll’s image and the painting are made in a single exemplar, I never do copies. And some dolls are made in a single exemplar only. MY dolls are created not just for playing, they can become the unique complement of any doll’s collection, they can be passed on from generation to generation and they will always please their owners.
